Mozilla Firefox - быстрый, функциональный, отлично расширяемый браузер основанный на "движке" Mozilla. Firefox поддерживает вкладки (tabs) - вы можете открыть несколько страниц в одном окне. Также вы можете загружать ссылки в фоновом режиме не покидая той страницы, на которой вы сейчас находитесь. Microsoft Windows 4.x и Mac OS X v10.2 больше не поддерживаются. Из окна дополнений можно работать с addons.mozilla.org.

Shiretoko Alpha 1 is an early developer milestone for the next version of Firefox that is being built on top of Mozilla's Gecko 1.9.1 layout engine, Shiretoko Alpha 1 is being made available for testing purposes only, and is intended for web application developers and our testing community. Current users of Mozilla Firefox should not use Shiretoko Alpha 1.

Mozilla Firefox - faster, more secure, easier to use and sporting a new look, this latest Firefox release sets a new standard for web browser innovation. Mozilla Firefox project (formerly Firebird, which was formerly Phoenix) is a redesign of Mozilla's browser component, written using the XUL user interface language and designed to be cross-platform. - Безопасное хранение паролей для сайтов благодаря возможности задать «мастер-пароль», который шифрует все остальные (используя алгоритм симметричного шифрования 3-DES). Таким образом, кража (извлечение) сохраненных паролей затруднена даже при физическом доступе злоумышленника к компьютеру. При первом вводе мастер-пароля отображается его расчётное качество (трудность взлома).

Корпорация Mozilla выпустила новую версию предыдущей линейки альтернативного браузера Mozilla Firefox. Программа поддерживает практически все современные web-технологии и стандарты, обладает огромной функциональностью за счет потенциальной возможности применения расширений, которых на сегодняшний день имеется просто таки огромное количество. Была вынесена в отдельный дистрибутив из интегрированного пакета Mozilla Suite (теперь SeaMonkey), как и последний, использует движок Gecko. Просмотр страниц осуществляется в многооконном режиме, в поставку включены модули для блокировки всплывающих окон, поиска по нескольким поисковым системам и менеджер скачивания файлов. Имеются также встроенный RSS-клиент для чтения новостей и организатор закладок
